PADI OPEN WATER DIVING COURSE WITH
Our standard format is great for people who want to complete their PADI Open Water certification during an extended one-weekend period.
Also…it is our most economical option particularly when you take advantage of our “Bring A Buddy” discount!
This class is in a more expedited format. Also…these classes can include up to 10 students per class. If you think you would be better off with a slower, more spread-out class format with fewer students per class…then you may want to consider our Premium Format scheduled classes
CLASS OVERVIEW
Here's a quick rundown of our Standard Format PADI Open Water Diver schedule of events:
*Please remember that the home study PADI eLearning homework must be completed prior to the start of the class.

Thursday Evening 6 PM-9 PM

SCUBA/Class Introduction & Gear Fitting session at FCD.

Friday Evening 5:15 PM-10 PM
-
Pool session at Good Shepherd Pool for Confined Water Dives 1-3.

Saturday All Day 9 AM-5 PM
-
Dive Day 1 at Devil's Den Springs. Open Water Dives 1 & 2, Confined Water Dives 4-5.

Sunday Half Day 7 AM-1:30 PM

Dive Day 2 at Rainbow River Springs. Open Water Dives 3 & 4.

Instruction by one of our insured PADI-certified instructors

PADI eLearning program access for students to complete their pre-class homework.

Personal diver’s logbook

Use of like-new Aqua Lung regulator, dive computer, BCD & wetsuit

What you need to bring:

SCUBA mask, fins, snorkel, lead weight, surface marker buoy (SMB) & gear bag

Swimsuit to wear underneath your wetsuit

All minors need to be accompanied by a parent or guardian

Students will be responsible for their own transportation

Great for students who don’t own and/or don't want to buy any of their personal basic gear. We will furnish the use of a mask, snorkel, fins, booties, lead weight & gear bag for the student to use during class. $75 upgrade.
